St. Andrew's Cathedral, Kiev - UKRAINE - UNESCO TENTATIVE

The third card in Oksana's envelope has this beautiful photo of the 250 years old Saint Andrew's Cathedral in Kiev, a place she often visits (in her opinion it has a special aura that makes it a unique place). For it's artistic and architectural value it's a tentative site for entering UNESCO WHS list (let's hope it will get there next year!). Thanks again for this awesome swap Oksana, I really like your cards. This postcard took 6 days to arrive!
St. Andrew's Cathedral, Kiev - UKRAINE
St. Andrew's Church in Kyiv is a monument of history, architecture and painting of the 18th century that gained the world significance. The church preserves not only authentic architecture and painting of the Baroque epoch, but also unique decorative stuccowork and woodcarving of the middle of the 18th century. Besides, the painting compositions of the 19th century executed in Classicism are also preserved in the interior of the church.
