Pieniny Mountains National Park - POLAND - UNESCO TENTATIVE

The site on this card is not a UNESCO WHS yet, but the specific elements of flora and fauna on this dolomite and limestone mountains make it a very strong candidate for future nominations. According to the sender this is one of the main tourist attractions in Poland, even bigger than Białowieża Forest (trips down the Dunajec River on wood canoes are organized here since the 19th century). Thank you Sylwia for the beautiful card and the stamp from this year EUROPA series.  This postcard took 9 days to arrive!
