Today I received the bunch of postcards I've mailed to myself on my recent trip to Turkey during the Easter Break (there are lots of amazing postcards for sale there and at incredible low cost prices, my wish was to sent dozens, but unfortunately stamps are not for free and I like to mail them separately). I'll start by posting the Map of that beautiful country. This postcard took 15 days to arrive!
Turkey is a contiguous transcontinental country, located mostly on Anatolia in Western Asia and on East Thrace in Southeastern Europe. Turkey is bordered by eight countries: Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia , Armenia, Iran, Iraq and Syria. The Mediterranean Sea is to the south and the Black Sea is to the north. The Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles (which together form the Turkish Straits) demarcate the boundary between Thrace and Anatolia; they also separate Europe and Asia.Turkey's location at the crossroads of Europe and Asia makes it a country of significant Geo-strategic importance.
