Cabo Verde Multiview - CABO VERDE

Today I received five amazing cards from my sister in law that went to the Boa Vista island in Cabo Verde (I know the official designation is Cape Verde, but I'll use the Portuguese denomination, sorry) for a week of sun, peace and tranquility in that amazing archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, that I also have the luck to visit for several times. This first card is a multi-view with pictures of all the islands. Thank you very much Mila for remembering me during your vacations. This postcard took 32 days to arrive!

Islands of Cape Verde (Multiview) - CAPE VERDE

Cape Verde, officially the Republic of Cape Verde, is an island country spanning an archipelago of 10 volcanic islands in the central Atlantic Ocean. Located 570 km off the coast of Western Africa, the islands cover a area of slightly over 4,000 km2. Three (Sal, Boa Vista and Maio) are fairly flat, sandy and dry; the others generally rockier with more vegetation. The name of the country stems from the nearby Cap-Vert, on the Senegalese coast. Portuguese explorers discovered and colonized the previously uninhabited islands in the 15th century.
