Barra de São Miguel Beach - BRAZIL

My friend Luzia from the Postcrossing Forum that lives in São Paulo, Brazil, sent me this postcard of the beautiful Barra de São Miguel Beachin the Alagoas state with a wonderful stamp (special commemorative edition of the World Football Championship that starts next month) - as she says, besides all the problems that Brazil is living nowadays (specially in São Paulo) it still offers these little pieces of paradise and for the next month will be the center of the world's attention because of the World Cup and the moment the ball start to roll every problem will vanish, at least while the team keeps winning - "Panis et Circences" in the 21st century. Thank you very much Luzia I totally understand you, here in Portugal is the same thing and back in 2004 when we hosted the Euro Cup it was incredible all the alienation in the people. Well if you can't beat them, join them... Go Ronaldo Go!!! This postcard took 11 days to arrive!
