Bali - INDONESIA
From the distant paradise of Bali Indonesia, I received three awesome postcards sent by Shinta (she often goes there on romantic getaways with her husband - you lucky girl!). This postcards are so beautiful that I first thought of posting them separately, but then I decided to join them in only one to be sure that everyone would see them altogether. The first two show the kecak where young males show their strength and virility by carrying a beautiful lady wearing traditional costumes near the seaside, the second bring us Barong, the mythical creature that has the magical power to clean the world from all evil and one of the most amazing sunset photos in my collection that make me understand and agree that Bali must be a perfect destination for a romantic vacation (maybe Barong will help me by winning the lottery!) Thank you very much Shinta for this extraordinary cards and stamps. This postcards took 18 days to arrive!

Bali is an island and province of Indonesia, and includes a few smaller neighbouring islands, notably Nusa Penida. It is located at the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, between Java to the west and Lombok to the east, and has its capital of Denpasar at the southern part of the island. Bali is part of the Coral Triangle, the area with the highest biodiversity of marine species. Tourism is the largest single industry in terms of income, and as a result, Bali is one of Indonesia's wealthiest regions.
