Greetings from JERSEY

My first postcard from the Island of Jersey! It's always a amazing feeling when I have the chance to create a new label... And this card is simply beautiful (with that cool colour look that only vintage cards have) This one is from the 60s and I imagine that those photos are really outdated, probably nowadays the shore line of that popular touristic channel island is filled with big buildings and hotels. Thank you so much Rasa for the wonderful postcard. This postcard took 3 days to arrive!

The Bailiwick of Jersey (Multiview) - JERSEY

The island of Jersey is the largest of the Channel Islands. Jersey, officially the Bailiwick of Jersey, is a British Crown dependency just off the coast of Normandy, France. Jersey is part of the ancient Duchy of Normandy, and is ruled by the Duke of Normandy—a title held by the reigning Monarch of the United Kingdom, though unrelated to those duties as king or queen of the UK. Jersey is a self-governing parliamentary democracy under a constitutional monarchy, with its own financial, legal and judicial systems, and the power of self-determination. It is not part of the United Kingdom, and has an international identity separate from that of the UK but the United Kingdom is constitutionally responsible for the defence of Jersey.
