This is my 4th US State Map-Card (only 46 left to have all them). This cards are so funny to receive - I really like to calmly look at them and discoverer all the small details printed. Thank you very much Carolann for this beautiful card (yes, I've found your hometown in the map). This postcard took 13 days to arrive!
Massachusetts is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States. It is the 7th smallest, but the 14th most populous and the 3rd most densely populated of the 50 United States. Massachusetts has played a significant historical, cultural, and commercial role in American history. Plymouth was the site of the colony founded in 1620 by the Pilgrims, passengers of the Mayflower. Harvard University, founded in 1636, is the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. In the late 18th century, Boston became known as the "Cradle of Liberty" for the agitation there that led to the American Revolution and the independence of the United States from Great Britain.
