Khabarovsk - RUSSIA

This 3rd card Victoria sent me shows the Great Patriotic War Memorial in the city of Khabarovsk, a city she recently visited. The postcard was issued in 1989 so still under CCCP flag. Thank you so much Victoria, I'm really glad and excited with the interesting vintage cards you sent me. This postcard took 37 days to arrive!

Great Patriotic War Memorial, Khabarovsk - RUSSIA
Khabarovsk is the largest city and the administrative center of Khabarovsk Krai, Russia, located 30 kilometers from the Chinese border, at the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri Rivers. It is the second largest city in the Russian Far East, after Vladivostok. The city was the headquarter of the Far East Military District, and retains its historically international flavour. Since the demise of the Soviet Union it has experienced an increased Asian presence.
