Katwijk aan See - NETHERLANDS

This amazing vintage postcard came from The Netherlands, more precisely from Katwijk, on the shores of the North Sea. Thank you so much Ellen, like yourself I have a special attraction for vintage postcards and this one it seems really old - do you have information of the date of this card? This postcard took 13 days to arrive!

Katwijk aan See, Holland - THE NETHERLANDS
Katwijk is a coastal municipality and town in the province of South Holland, in the mid-western part of The Netherlands. Through this town flows the river Oude Rijn ("Old Rhine"), which merges here into the North Sea. In Romans times, Katwijk was a place of great strategic importance. It was located at the Roman Empire's northern border, at the mouth of the Rhine river.
