Frankfurt am Main - GERMANY

Of the bunch of official cards I've received this week, three came from Germany (until now, almost 20% of my POSTCROSSING cards came from there). It was sent by the happily married couple Michaela and Sebastian from Butzbach near Frankfurt and it shows a nice multiview of this city (I've never been there, only a small stop at the huge airport, almost get lost in there). Thank you very much for the card and for the merry christmas wishes on the message - I hope that all went well for you and that 2014 may be a amazing year. This postcard took 13 days to arrive!

Frankfurt am Main (Multiview) - GERMANY
Frankfurt am Main, commonly known as Frankfurt, is the largest city in the German state of Hesse and the fifth-largest city in Germany. Frankfurt is the largest financial centre in continental Europe and ranks among the world's leading financial centres. It is home to the European Central Bank, Deutsche Bundesbank, Frankfurt Stock Exchange and several large commercial banks. Frankfurt is therefore considered a global city (alpha world city) as listed by the Loughborough University group's 2010 inventory.
