Renaissance Houses at Slavonice - CZECH REPUBLIC - UNESCO TENTATIVE

Today the only two cards that were waiting for me in my mailbox came all the way from Czech Republic, a country I don't know yet but I really want to visit - two postcards with UNESCO TENTATIVES, sites that hopefully will enter the WHS list soon. The first on shows some beautiful houses in the town of Slavonice. Thank you very much Radek. This postcard took 7 days to arrive!
The town of Slavonice lies in the easternmost part of the Region of Budejovice near the Czech-Austrian border. It was founded at the crossing of historical merchant routes in the picturesquely undulating Moravian landscape. The basis of Slavonice treasure consists in the extraordinary valuable complex of burgher houses from the late Gothic period and especially from the period of Renaissance.
