In my mailbox waiting for me this afternoon were two cards from my dear Canadian friend Jason - the first is this awesome map of the province of Québec (the only one I visited yet back in 2006, had an amazing 2 weeks in Drummondville, Monreal and Québec). I really like this "Where's Waldo" type of Map-Cards, because there's lots of little details picturing the different people that live in that place. Thank you so much Jason for another amazing card. This postcard took 6 days to arrive!

Québec Map and Symbols - CANADA
Quebec is Canada's largest province by area and second most populous. Most inhabitants live in urban areas near the Saint Lawrence River between Montreal and Quebec City, the capital. It is the only Canadian province that has a predominantly French-speaking population, and the only one to have French as its sole provincial official language. Quebec independence debates have played a large role in the politics of the province. In 2006, the House of Commons of Canada passed a symbolic motion recognizing the "Québécois as a nation within a united Canada.
