Christmas Greetings - BULGARIA

Christmas is coming, we can see it in the street decorations and on people faces (mainly children of course) and in this special time it's always nice to feel loved and remembered by your family and friends. This nice card came from Tsvetana, a friend I made recently due to Postcrossing and our common addiction on postcards. Thank you very much for the card and the nice words you wrote Tsveti, you're a sweet friend - I wish all the best for you and your family. This postcard took 9 days to arrive!

Christmas Greetings - BULGARIA
Christmas is an annual commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ and a widely observed cultural holiday, celebrated generally on December 25 by millions of people around the world. A feast central to the Christian liturgical year, it closes the Advent season and initiates the twelve days of Christmastide, which ends after the twelfth night. Christmas is a civil holiday in many of the world's nations, is celebrated by an increasing number of non-Christians, and is an integral part of the Christmas and holiday season.
