Bratislava - SLOVAKIA

My first postcard from Slovakia arrived today! It shows the main spots of the country capital Bratislava and was sent by a Czech postcrosser that went there on vacations. I went to Bratislava several years ago (a fantastic trip by boat on the Danube from Wien, Austria) and I remember a lively city with lots of young people on the streets and several interesting monuments to see (I recall loving the visit to Devin Castle). Thank you very much Ondrej for remembering me while on your vacation, hope you had a great time there. This postcard took 4 days to arrive!

Bratislava Multiview - SLOVAKIA

Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and the country's largest city. Bratislava is located in southwestern Slovakia, occupying both banks of the Danube River and the left bank of the Morava River. Bordering Austria and Hungary, it is the only national capital that borders two independent countries. The city was the capital of the Kingdom of Hungary, a part of the larger Habsburg Monarchy territories, from 1536 to 1783 and has been home to many Slovak, Hungarian, and German historical figures.
