Lake Wanaka - NEW ZEALAND

Today I've got my first oficial card from New Zealand and what a beautiful photography it is. The sender said in the message written in the back that this is her favourite  lake in New Zealand and I really understand why, the view must be breathtaking! Thank you very much for this card Lee and for the amazing stamps you've chosen. This postcard took 14 days to arrive!

Lake Wanaka lies at the heart of the Otago Lakes in the lower South Island of New Zealand. The township is situated in a glacier carved basin on the shores of the lake and is the gateway to Mt Aspiring National Park. Covering an area of 192 km2 it is New Zealand's fourth largest lake, and estimated to be more than 300 m deep.
