Pelkosenniemi - FINLAND

Three official cards in one day - nice! This one came from Finland, sent by a postcrosser that lives in Turku in the south, but have chosen a card of a lake on the remote little village of Pelkosenniemi. Thank you Eevakaa, yes the summer is almost over so let's enjoy this last days of sun and warm weather! This postcard took 5 days to arrive!

Pelkosenniemi is located in the province of Lapland. The municipality has a population of 972 and covers an area of 1,881.73 km2. Lapland is the largest and northernmost of the regions of Finland. In many European Countries tradition, Lapland is the home of Father Christmas.
