My first direct swap with Hong Kong, the "special administrative region" that returned to China in 1997 - it shows the famous commercial area of Mong Kok where the sender goes every weekend to see and buy new stuff. Thank you very much Yimnang for this card... no, I've never been to Hong Kong (nor any place in the Far East, unfortunately)  but I would really love to visit it (along with Macau of course, the other "special region" in China that was Portuguese territory for almost 500 years).

Mong Kok (also spelt Mongkok), is an area in the Yau Tsim Mong District on Kowloon West, Hong Kong. The district is characterized by a mixture of old and new multi-story buildings, with shops and restaurants at street level and commercial or residential units above. With its extremely high population density of 130,000 person per km2,Mongkok was described as the busiest district in the world by the Guinness World Records.
