Ponta de São Lourenço, Madeira - PORTUGAL

This is the second card I received from Alberto, showing the eastern edge of Madeira island. His idea was to send a Selvagens islands postcard (UNESCO tentative) but he couldn't find any - no worries Betinho, I really like this card and I'm very glad you remembered me. When do you go to Dubai and Australia again? This postcard took 7 days to arrive!

Ponta de São Lourenço, Caniçal, Madeira - PORTUGAL
Ponta de São Lourenço is the extreme east of Madeira island, Portugal, integrated in the Caniçal district.  It's edge was the first area to be inhabited in the eastern side of the island. In those lands, which were donated to Vasco Moniz (the son of Tristão Vaz Teixeira - Madeira discoverer), the first of the oldest farms were established (5 September 1489).
